The framework contract for the Erzgebirgsbahn involved the overall planning of nine trains.<\/p>

Requirements:<\/p>

Upgrading the existing fleet, implementing the new color scheme for the trains, DB certification of all materials used,<\/p>

as well as meeting all special material properties, i.e.
– high adhesive strength<\/p>

– long durability<\/p>

– good cleaning properties<\/p>

– resistance to common

The basis of the order was the new color scheme for the trains of the VT 628 series. Here too, the first step was to fill, sand, and remove what was worn out and no longer useful.<\/p>\n

The advantage of such a refurbishment measure: Entire trains can thus be not only visually upgraded within an economically justifiable framework, but also restored to full operational readiness – using highly developed foil applications.
