For the traditional Parkeisenbahn in Berlin’s FEZ (Leisure and Recreation Center), we had the pleasure of implementing a special project together with our partner Railcolor. The design of the small locomotive was created by Railcolor – we brought it to the tracks and wrapped the locomotive with high precision.
Modern design meets nostalgic charm
The Parkeisenbahn has been delighting children, families, and technology enthusiasts for decades – and now it shines in a fresh, vibrant look. The illustrations pick up on themes such as mobility, movement, and leisure, fitting perfectly into the FEZ’s educational concept.
Our task: Wrapping with a delicate touch
With experience in railcaptioning and great attention to detail, we wrapped the locomotive directly on-site in the vehicle hall. Despite the small dimensions, craftsmanship and precision were required: curves, ventilation grilles, and riveted surfaces were executed exactly – so that the design can unfold its full impact.
A real eye-catcher on small tracks
This project shows once again: even small trains deserve great design. And when strong partners like Railcolor and Pat & Patachon work hand in hand, a small locomotive becomes a real eye-catcher with a powerful signal effect.
Conclusion
A great example of how creative design and clean execution can make a big impact even on a smaller scale. We are delighted to have contributed to the modern appearance of the Parkeisenbahn Wuhlheide together with Railcolor – with heart, craftsmanship, and a clear message: mobility starts small.
