A Hamburg-based restaurant contacted us with exactly this concern. The modern restaurant is located directly on the Elbe, in the immediate vicinity of the Elbphilharmonie – with an impressive view that should of course be preserved.
The request: Heat protection without loss of visibility
The customer was looking for a solution to reduce the strong sunlight and associated heat build-up in the interior – without losing the open, light-flooded character of the restaurant. Together with our team, a suitable type of heat protection film was selected that meets the highest thermal and visual demands.
The implementation: Flexible, fast with foresight
After a detailed on-site consultation and precise measurement of the glass surfaces, we developed a tailor-made implementation concept. The installation took place outside of regular opening hours – flexible and with minimal disruption to operations. Thanks to our mobile installation teams, we were able to complete the work quickly and efficiently – despite changing weather conditions and logistical challenges directly on the water.
The result: Visibly better indoor climate
The installed heat protection film now ensures consistently pleasant temperatures in the interior – without air conditioning, without any energy consumption. At the same time, the view of the Elbe and the Elbphilharmonie remains completely unobstructed. A real added value for guests and operators.
