Looking great with a new look
We had the pleasure of implementing a special project for the traditional Parkeisenbahn (park railway) in Berlin’s Freizeit- und Erholungszentrum (FEZ) [leisure and recreation center], together with our partner Railcolor. The design of the small locomotive comes from Railcolor – we brought it to the rails and applied the film to the locomotive with great precision.
Modern design meets nostalgic charm
The Parkeisenbahn has been delighting children, families, and technology enthusiasts for decades – and now shines with a fresh, vibrant look. The illustrations pick up on themes such as mobility, movement, and leisure, and fit perfectly into the FEZ’s educational concept.
Our task: Applying film with a delicate touch
With experience in the field of railcaption and great attention to detail, we applied the film to the locomotive directly on site in the vehicle hall. Despite its small dimensions, craftsmanship precision was required: curves, ventilation grilles, and rivet surfaces were implemented exactly – so that the design can have its full effect.
A real eye-catcher on small tracks
This project shows once again: even small trains deserve great design. And when strong partners like Railcolor and Pat & Patachon work hand in hand, a small locomotive becomes a real eye-catcher with a signal effect.
Conclusion
A great example of how creative design and clean implementation can achieve great things even on a smaller scale. Together with Railcolor, we are delighted to have contributed to the modern appearance of the Parkeisenbahn Wuhlheide – with heart, craftsmanship, and a clear message: mobility begins on a small scale.
